Things You Need For The Perfect Beach Day

Summer heat, beach days, and tans are coming up! As the summer sun will blaze through, it's important to prepare for this season. Did you really have a summer vacay, if you didn't go to the beach? Let us help you have the perfect beach day!

SUNSCREEN!

Skincare is very important and taking steps to prevent skin care is crucial! Make sure to apply sunscreen for 15-30 minutes before stepping out in the heat and reapply. Different forms of sunscreen include lotion, spray, and roll-on. There are also lip balms that contain SPF as an extra precaution. If you do experience any sunburns, make sure to have a soothing aftersun lotion or gel. This would help not have the stinging sensation and help to moisturize the exposed skin.

Hats or Caps

Along with skincare protection, hats and caps are crucial for a beach day. There are different styles to fit yours.

Snacks

Create your own little picnic while at the beach. Some snack ideas are; fruits, trail mix, a cheese platter, chips, and drinks. Along with the drinks and snacks, bring a cooler to keep items cool, especially if you will be bringing along perishable items. Depending on how long you plan to stay on the beach, make sure you remain hydrated!

If you would like to create your own picnic, make sure to take a beach tent, canopy or umbrella to have shade. Remember to take your towels or a picnic blanket to lie or sit on the beach.

Board games

If going with your family or friends, board and card games are a great to spend quality time!

Podcasts, Music & Books

The waves at the beach are relaxing, which makes it a great opportunity to catch up on reading, listening to podcasts or jamming to your favorite tunes.
