A Cozy Retreat: The Benefits of Choosing a Cottage Rental for Your Martha's Vineyard Vacation

Martha’s Vineyard is the perfect place for a retreat any time of the year. Being 7 miles off of the stunning coast of Massachusetts, it is the perfect escape to enjoy the east coast without the chaos that the mainland brings. Choosing the perfect housing accommodations for your trip is extremely important.

While staying in a hotel may be the initial idea for your stay, choosing a cottage rental instead may be the option that takes your vacation to the next level. Even though you may be far away from home, choosing a cottage rental will bring just a little bit of home to you. So, here are a couple of reasons to consider a cottage rental for your next stay in Martha’s Vineyard:

Peace and Serenity

When choosing a cottage versus a hotel, you get to have all of the personal space you and your family need without the hustle and bustle of an overcrowded hotel or resort. This way, you can really appreciate everything that Martha’s Vineyard has to offer! You can also get a glimpse of the surrounding communities to immerse yourself in the culture.

Home-Like Comfort

It’s always nice, even when being on vacation, to bring elements of home along with you. Choosing a cottage over a resort or hotel really provides a cozy, home-like atmosphere that you will love coming back to after a long day of excursions and exploring. You are able to enjoy many amenities that hotels most likely won't offer, like a kitchen, living spaces, and multiple bedrooms. This way, you are able to cultivate a home-away-from-home experience during your stay at Martha’s Vineyard.

Cost-Effective Option

Depending on your party's size, staying in a rental cottage throughout your vacation can be extremely cost-effective. Regardless of the number of people that join you on your stay, you can save a lot of money by taking advantage of the amenities offered, such as a kitchen, by cooking your own meals instead of dining out. With that, many different options of cottages are available, giving you the freedom to accommodate your individual budget and needs.
